Hangzhou Art School has established a sister-school partnership with G.N.U in 2010 and selected the first batch of dance students to study there in 2011. And now, after several years of studying, they are to graduate next year. The headmaster of Hangzhou Art school, Song Jiaming, as well as some other teachers, attended their graduation performance in Korea.
The performance, which was girls’ own creation of Korean dance was held in Busan Cultural Center on Nov. 25. They got their own unique understanding of Korean culture and tradition by learning and experiencing in this country for years. The costumes, the music, the light and the dance were all made and designed by themselves in order to show their achievements through story-telling and character portrayal which blended the Korean elements with their shows.
Koreans offered their heartfelt thanks to all leaders and teachers of Hangzhou Art School for their individual attention to each students as well as attendance at the performance. The President of G.N.U, Dean of School of Humanities and Dean of School of Foreign Language all appreciated these girls’ proficiency, culture attainments and team spirit, what’s more, they also hoped to continue to maintain the sound cooperation with Hangzhou Art School to attract more outstanding students to go to Korea for further study. At last, they sincerely invited Hangzhou Art School to attend the next year's opening ceremony of G.N.U.
